Welcome Class of 2014 and parents!
I will be using this blog to post important updates about class. I also use this blog to post certain online assginment for students.
I am looking forward to starting a new year with new students. Biology is an exciting course with a lot of new information to learn about. Students take the North Carolina End-of-Course test in Biology at the end of the semester, which is 25% of their final grade. Therefore it is important students come to class everyday prepared to learn.
Should students need extra help I offer tutoring on Wednesdays 4:30-5:00pm and by appointment. Students also have acess to an online practice through the use of Study Island. Active duty military families also have access to free online tutors from Tutor.com.
